Vintage 1990s 'RALPH' Ralph Lauren Pink Tulle Maxi Skirt
A RALPH Ralph Lauren skirt, believed to date from the late 1990s featuring multiple layers of airy pink nylon tulle which fall from a narrow covered elastic waistband, creating a full, softly gathered A-line silhouette.
The overlapping layers produce subtle variations in colour and translucency, while an opaque pink cotton lining provides coverage beneath. With an generous 146-inch sweep, the skirt has volume and movement without the structure of a crinoline. The ankle-grazing maxi length and tonal pink palette give it the feeling of an elegantly exaggerated ballet skirt. It has a simple pull-on construction with no zipper or other fastening.
