Vintage 1980s St Michael Red Pussy-Bow Pleated Blouse
This vintage 1980s blouse by St Michael in a rich red with a slightly lustrous finish is a lightweight and classic addition to any wardrobe.
The blouse features a self-tie pussy-bow neckline and narrow stitched box pleats extending vertically along either side of the front button placket, with matching fabric-covered buttons. Long sleeves are softly gathered into buttoned cuffs, while the relaxed silhouette reflects the polished statement dressing associated with the era.
St Michael was the longstanding house label of British retailer Marks & Spencer. The trademark was introduced in 1928 and had become the company’s principal own brand by the 1950s.
