This 1950s Velvet Hand Painted Velvet Floral Cheongsam Qipao dress is a truly elegant piece. Created from a lush, deep black velvet, it features a mandarin collar, cheongsam-style snap closure and pastel pink piping/edging. 

The pink floral design is hand-painted and has a luminous quality, featuring tiny paint splatters in the design, which may or may not be intentional (see photos). This qipao style dress was originally designed to be worn over flowy trousers but can also be worn by itself.

Excellent. Professionally dry cleaned recently. There is minor paint splatter in the design, which may or may not be intentional (see photos).

Closure 		A line of snap button closures run along the neck and bustline. Hook and eye at top of mandarin collar. Side metal YKK zipper. Neck of mannequin is too large so the top collar is open in the photos.
