BG Design Canada Moon Print Circle Skirt from Fall 2016 Collection
A dramatic full circle skirt from BG Canada Design’s Fall 2016 collection, made in Vancouver and printed with detailed imagery of the lunar surface. The all-over photographic print moves through shades of slate grey, muted blue, white and soft cream, capturing the moon’s craters, shadows and shifting terrain. Its placement changes across each fold, giving the skirt remarkable depth and an almost three-dimensional appearance.
A fitted tonal-grey waistband defines the high-rise silhouette before the skirt opens into a full 112-inch sweep. The polyester fabric holds the skirt’s sculptural volume while remaining fluid enough to move and flare beautifully when worn.
The waistband fastens with marbled grey buttons over a deep V-shaped modesty panel, keeping the opening covered without interrupting the clean circle shape. The skirt is fully lined and falls to approximately knee length, depending on the wearer’s height.
BG Canada Design is Canadian owned and operated business whose garments are made from locally sourced fabrics and everything is produced in their design studio in Vancouver, BC.
