Vintage 1980s–1990s Mureli Silk USA Flag & Chain-Print Bomber Jacket
This maximalist Mureli silk bomber jacket from the late 1980s to early 1990s is a softly quilted 100% silk outer paired with a smooth polyester lining; and cut in an easy, oversized blouson silhouette.
The warm ivory base is covered in a bold Americana collage of stars, stripes, stylized USA flags, golden ropes and interlocking chains. Saturated red and royal blue are offset by flashes of yellow and gold, while contrasting red trim defines the stand collar, front zipper and angled pocket openings. Elasticated cuffs and hem create its classic bomber shape.
The full-length sleeves are detachable, allowing the jacket to be converted into a statement vest. Hook-and-loop patches inside the shoulders were designed to hold removable shoulder pads, although the original pads are not included. Two angled front pockets and a full-length metal zipper with an oversized circular Mureli pull complete the design.

Very good vintage condition overall. There are two or three minor fabric abrasions, along with small nibbled areas on one side of the collar and beside the zipper at the neck. These flaws have been considered in the price. Please review the detailed photographs carefully. |
