Vintage 1960's Pastel Blue 'Aristocraft by Superior' Peignoir & NightGown Set
A beautifully floaty vintage 1960s peignoir and nightgown set by Aristocraft by Superior, rendered in the palest blue with cream and white floral lace.
The sleeveless nightgown features a fitted floral-lace bodice, lace-trimmed shoulder straps, a delicate ribbon tie at the centre bust and a flowing pastel-blue skirt. Its matching peignoir has a sheer, generously cut body with a wide floral-lace yoke, short lace sleeves and a ribbon bow at the neckline. Together, the two pieces create an airy, romantic silhouette with an exceptional amount of movement.
Aristocraft was an American lingerie and sleepwear label established by the Superior Petticoat Company of New York in 1936.

Good condition. There are a few minor fabric abrasions dispersed through the fullness of the nightgown, a small run in the nightgown lining and one tiny dark stain on the lace edging of one robe sleeve. The abrasions are subtle within the gown’s generous sweep. These imperfections have been considered in the price. Please review the photographs carefully. |
