Vintage 1990s Pastel Popcorn-Knit Open-Front Cardigan

A cozy 1990s cardigan, hand knitted from soft novelty yarn in a dreamy mixture of pastel shades. The softly marled colors shift among lilac, blush pink, powder blue, cream and silvery grey. Irregular plush nubs are worked throughout the knit, creating the dimensional “popcorn” texture that gives the cardigan its distinctive appearance.

A wide, softly rolled band follows the neckline and open front, framing the body without buttons or other fastenings. Full-length sleeves, gently rounded cuffs and a relaxed hip-length shape add to its cosy, easy silhouette.

The cardigan can be worn with a more traditional fit on a modern Medium or styled loosely and oversized on an Extra Small or Small.
