Multicoloured Woven Raffia Zippered Tote Bag with Wooden Handles

A medium sized woven tote combining natural straw-toned fibres with bands of muted blue, mint green, coral and cream. The open lattice-style exterior reveals colourful twisted horizontal strands beneath a natural woven framework. Smooth laminated wooden handles are attached through wide cream woven tabs, while a full-length zipper secures the top.

Inside, the bag is fully lined in fabric and finished with a small slip pocket. Its broad rectangular base and softly tapered shape provide practical room for everyday essentials.

Condition

Good.  The exterior remains structurally sound, and the handles, attachment tabs and zipper are intact. Zipper functional. The interior lining has widespread spotting and mottled discolouration, particularly around the base but is intact and functional with inner pocket.  One wooden handle has an area of surface loss or adhesive residue, and the woven exterior shows minor irregularities and wear consistent with use.
