Vintage 1990s Holt Renfrew Multicolour Chevron-Knit Faux-Wrap Top

A vibrant circa 1990s faux-wrap top by Holt Renfrew, made in Italy from a fine-gauge cotton and rayon-blend knit, which has been clearly inspired by an iconic Italian brand!

Narrow chevron stripes travel continuously across the garment in an intricate mixture of cobalt blue, turquoise, coral, orange, saffron yellow, pale green, brown, black and cream. Variations in colour and stitch density give the lightweight knit a richly textured, almost marled appearance, with subtle openwork sections throughout.

The front is constructed with two overlapping panels that form a deep V-neckline and create the appearance of a wrap top without ties or adjustable fastenings. The fixed crossover design gently shapes the bust and draws inward at the waist before falling to a straight, hip-length hem.

Full-length sleeves finish with a subtle flare at the cuffs, echoing the fluid lines of the crossover front. The unlined top pulls on over the head and has minimal stretch.
