Vintage 1990s Gianni Versace Profumi Blonde Perfume-Bottle Chiffon Scarf
A beautifully light vintage square scarf carrying the Gianni Versace Profumi label from the mid-1990s.
Set against an ivory ground, elegant green botanical branches are interspersed with illustrations of Gianni Versace fragrance bottles in pale gold, yellow, black and grey. The print includes a round Medusa-head bottle associated with Versace Blonde, introduced in 1995 and was likely a fragrance promotional accessory. Hand rolled and hand stitched edges.
Layered neoclassical borders frame the design, combining black Greek-key meanders, stylized palmettes and a narrow green-and-gold foliate band. The lightweight chiffon gives the scarf a soft, airy drape and allows the printed design to remain visible when folded or gathered.
Its generous square proportions allow it to be worn around the neck, draped over the shoulders, or styled as a headscarf.
