This 1950s Velvet Hand Painted Velvet Floral Cheongsam Qipao dress is a truly elegant piece. Crafted from a lush, deep black velvet, this beauty features a mandarin collar, cheongsam-style snap closure and pastel pink piping/edging. The pink floral design is hand-painted and has a luminous quality, featuring tiny paint splatters in the design, which may or may not be intentional (see photos). This qipao style dress was originally designed to be worn over flowy trousers but can also be worn by itself.
